About

Passion for the art of programming

I started programming when I was 10. My Dad was obsessed with techology and shared his passion by introducing me to the Commodore 64. Along with the Commodore came a subscription to COMPUTE! magazine which taught me simple BASIC, opening the door to a career path I've been trailblazing ever since. It's easy to recall the feelings of curiosity, excitement and a fascination with seeing the end result of my dedication; the feelings I had when I was younger are the same I experience today.

While in school I worked on a number of projects which include Windows Phone apps, a website for a non-profit group and a Ouya Console/PC game called Platform R. After graduating, I've worked both as a freelance programmer and in teams in various companies across Southern California. I acquired project and time management skills, as well as the ability to communicate with team members and clients while effectively meeting milestones and deadlines.

I have worked on a multitude of web based projects for a range of clients providing Technical Writing, Program Management and Development (C#, SQL, HTML + CSS + LESS, JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Responsive Layouts), eCommerce Solutions, Custom CRM Implementations, On-Site and Cloud Infustructure Management and PCI Audit Readiness. During my CS degree I studied Design Patterns in depth, and therefore have a keen understanding of reusability, best practices and a structured approach which I put to good use on every project I work on.

I am curretly working in Tustin. I am always available to discuss your project over the phone or via Skype. These days I enjoy spending my free time helping open sourced projects, reading, writing science fiction or about trends in techology, cooking and playing with Winston, my 1 year old Lab mix.
